Mr. Donnelly:

If you are running a small business and are audited by NYS Department of 
Taxation, they may REQUIRE you to use double ledger bookkeeping.  At 
least they did years ago and my father keeps a set of books that are of 
that type  (he has been audited and it was a real mess.)

Also, I don't think that MYOB is of a high enough quality to keep around.
