[Wine] Wine Ragnarok private server help

Been on linux (ubuntu 9.10) for about a month now.  Starting to get the hang of it.  The only thing from windows I am missing is being able to play this game.  I've read a lot of stuff on the net and tried different things.  Some say i need to trick the ip but I am unable to figure out the server IP address. A lot of private servers have certain things in place to prevent hacking, so I think that might be why i am unable to find the ip address.  But I think there are other problems as well.
