[Wine] Guild wars problem

After a system update earlier this week, guild wars has failed to launch   properly. When client finishes loading the screen cuts black like it is about to start, then goes to a desktop screen with distorted resolution so that you can only see what would have been the top left corner of the desktop, but you have the guild wars cursor that you can still move around.
 
  Has anyone encountered this or knows a way to fix it?
