Wine does not support Indirect rendering.  Now you can find that Indirect rendering was turned on to help compiz to prevent some if its issues to.


Sorry to say you need to go to your distribution and ask why indirect rendering was set and if there is something you should remove because you want to change it.

Your case you are deleting a environmental var.  So the setting is done by environmental var for the opengl.
