Are you saying you are trying to reinstall to the same wineprefix that you had installed Office to under 1.2.2? If so, why? The existing install should work fine with the new version of Wine. My Office 2007 install has continued to work fine through multiple Wine upgrades. 

If you are trying to reinstall to a wineprefix where Office 2007 is already installed, that's your problem, and a known bug: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23734

If you have tried running the already-installed apps and they're not working, then you need to delete ~/.wine (assuming you're using the default wineprefix) before running the installer.
