I'll have to, I think, install wine a bit differently:

no big deal.  However, as that doesn't resolve the DRM problem, I'm
not sure it would be worthwhile.  Wasn't the audiobook you downloaded
a WMA DRM-protected file?  Did it work because it wasn't WMA but
another variant?
