Describe "white screen of death". If the system hasn't crashed, and if you're still seeing things on screen other than white and perhaps some error text, this is not what you call a white screen of death.

If instead you're just getting a wine iexplore window with nothing in it (completely white), this is normal. Wine iexplore is showing a blank page and doesn't have any sort of toolbars to make it usable outside other applications that need some kind of Internet Explorer.[/quote]

My desktop is Linux. I need IE to do my timesheets. :-(
