[Wine] Font problem since wine-1.2-rc2

Since wine-1.2-rc2, the wine fonts have not been working correctly. They are all smudged up, and text in certain applications is very hard to read.

I'd love to use the new version but the font problem is preventing me from doing so. Any clue on how to revert back to the rc1 fonts? I'm on Slackware Linux 13.
