first, thanks blue07, now I know not to shop at Tiffany jewelry.
I didn't know I didn't have to install directx. I guess I should attempt to remove it now and see if things improve. Is there an easy way to do that?
I originally installed directx because I tried to put on canopus procoder (before I knew of linux apps that did the same) and it said I needed dx or it wouldn't install.
