Depending on your Wine version, Crazy Taxi may crash if background music is enabled.  Newer Wine versions don't crash, but play a few seconds of music then switch to the next audio track (annoying!).

I recommend just disabling the background music altogether.  You can disable background music by running "CTConfig.EXE" from the folder you installed Crazy Taxi in. (You should also have a menu item for it in your application launcher if you find that easier.)
