motub, your last post was a life saver as i was having the same problem as the op. I followed your steps and got to the install screen. Then i encountered another problem, however. It asked for the install disc, which i put in, then it asked me to insert the play disc, which i did. Then I got this error:


Error mounting: mount: /dev/sr0 already mounted or /media/PLAYDISC busy

and i can't quite seem to get past it.
