To start with:  What PROGRAM?  There are literally THOUSANDS of Windows 
programs.  The Applications Database has hundreds of programs and did 
you look there for assistance/hints/how-tos?
Second: What version of Wine?  If it is not 1.3.26, update/upgrade/use 
the development version.
Third:  What were you doing when the error occurred.
