If uTorrent is not a .NET application then Mono will not do anything to 
help/hinder it.  If this is happening, you need to file a bug report on 
the Mono bugtracker.

I've installed non-.NET programs in a Wine Bottle with Mono installed 
and their functionality was not affected.
