Hello again.
Daz Studio 3 just works, so does Hexagon and Bryce 5.

As for Carrara, I have tried Active X but not as yet .net (I think Carrara 5 pre-dates .net). I will give you an update if Imake any more progress - its most fustrating as it has been reported to work in older versions of wine and Ubuntu. I will turn off multi threading in the render engine next and see if that works.
