If I could, I would mark this thread as [SOLVED] I updated to the latest Wine Beta (1.3.24) and reinstalled Irfanview 4.25 and it all works as it was. Still can't use Paint functiuin in all later versions (won't save changes) - anyone willing to investigate is welcome to try. :)
