[Wine] Flatout: garbage or platinum?

The strange title is because 
FlatOut (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17198) (GoG version) do not work or work perfectly changing the WINEDEBUG environment variable.

Here is the story:
I installed the game using WINEARCH set as win32 and the game did not start showing an error:

A debugger has been detected
Unload the debugger and try again
===
So trying to understand what was going on I started the game with
WINEDEBUG=+relay wine flatout.exe &>log
and the game worked!

So I restarted with WINEDEBUG=+relay wine flatout.exe &>/dev/null played a little and come here.

I found this article on Microsoft Support (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;812759), but I do not know how much can be appliable with wine.
