[Wine] Re: Problem installing Office2007

Hi all,

Well, i decided to go all way back, deleted my wineprefix as sugested, burned the iso to a CD as well.

And did this :

WINEARCH=win32 WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine winecfg

And the winecfg box came up but in the command line it gave me this :

wine: created the configuration directory '/home/rfribeiro/.wine'
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\wineboot.exe"
err:process:start_wineboot failed to start wineboot, err 2

Then, even having this errors tried to launch setup.exe by :

cd /media/OFFICE12
wine setup.exe

Gave me the error of my prior post "Setup did not complete successfully. We are sorry for the"

Tried to force my wineprefix by doing :

WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine wine setup.exe

Still same error.

Did also WINEARCH=Win32 WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.wine wine setup.exe

Same error again ...!
