Part of the problem is
  http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26396
and the workaround for that is
  winetricks quartz
Then at least you can hear the rides.

The music you can only hear by converting all the windows
media files into mp3's.  I haven't tried this yet myself.
(I have tried getting the windows media files to play, no joy.)
