I never said I assumed it was normal, or that it is a problem for anyone else other then me. I wrote:

I said I was perfectly happy with the 32bit chroot without dynamic drive letter assignment. Any brokenness referred to in that post meant my chroot configuration *not* WINE. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
