Hello Everyone!
First of all I'm new here. And i have to say that wine is awesome :). I never had to ask in the forums for help because i always got a solution in the AppDB and thats great. But now I'm freakin' out.
I played Starcraft 2 since release on wine and it always ran smoothly. Today i wanted to run Trackmania but it didn't work. Since i played a lot of games in wine with many settings i did, i thought i reinstall it and cleanup my ~/.wine folder. Now Trackmania runs fine. But since i did that, Starcraft 2 needs about 5 to 10 minutes to start. I never had that problem before. Too bad i didn't backup my ~/.wine folder which i regret. I finally post this after 3 hours of trying and searching the web. Maybe there is a simple solution i don't see (at least i hope that).
I'm running:
Arch Linux x86_64 with kernel 2.6.38
wine is at 1.3.16 (also tried with 1.3.20)
My Wine output is this:
Code:
wine StarCraft\ II.exe -opengl
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x32dcc0): stub
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0xe3c304,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:ddraw:DirectDrawEnumerateExA flags 0x00000003 not handled
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (3000): STUB
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 3000
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT (2000): STUB
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 2000
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x113c5d0): stub
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x113c5bc): stub
fixme:wininet:CommitUrlCacheEntryInternal entry already in cache - don't know what to do!
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x123e9b8): stub
After that it takes 5 to 10 minutes to start. Then the game runs just fine.
Can anybody help me with this, i have no idea what it is. If there is any more information needed, please tell me, i will provide it.
Greetz
