Traditionally, a wedding may have really good champagne and wine. This is a very significant part of the wedding party. The party wine is very significant to some brides. They'll go way over spending budget with the drinks. Several times a bride will pick really costly wine. This means the dress will even be cheaper than the wine.

The Bible shows it too

There is a time where Jesus Christ is at a wedding in the Bible. The marriage is starting to run out of wine. Then his mother asks what he thinks they should do. A miracle then happens. Water is turned into wine so that every person can continue the party. The wine was really good wine too. The wedding would start with good wine and then get watered down throughout the night in those times. Every person was so surprised the wine was not watered down but was the good stuff. The significance of marriage wine is shown even here in the bible. Back then, the marriage without the wine was a serious issue. Even Jesus Christ recognized how essential the wine is to the marriage.

The Royal family sees it too

The importance of wedding wine was recognized by more than just Jesus. The Royal family knows the importance. All occasions have to have the right wine. The wedding of Prince Charles and Diana was really important. In fact, it was essential. The Washington Times' Frank Raj said, "It would have embarrassed the Royal family if the wine supply ran out." Prince William and Kate Middleton also partook of wine at their marriage. Their marriage needed it. This is part of communion which is a part of the religion of their country. It was necessary that they had wine as part of the ceremony and celebration. Wine at a wedding will always be the case. It will always work this way.
