I had this same problem here, but everything was solved when I installed winealsa.drv: libasound-dev (libasound2-dev) http://wiki.winehq.org/Recommended_Packages I use ubuntu 12.04 (LTE) so I dont know if it will do the trick ps: used synaptic to download the driver
