Old comments are deleted from the AppDB, so that is not a good place to leave information. The place you should have mentioned it was bug 14137--you left a comment there that the game was working in 1.3.5, but never mentioned patching Wine. If you had, that bug would have been identified as a duplicate of 18799 a long time ago.
