I used to have this issue.

The solution is just copying the program files folder to your computer manually, since the game runs like that.

However, be aware of the issues with the game not starting and needing the CPU to be busy. I sketched up scripts for all my FM installs that got around 75% of my machine busy so that FM would start. It got worse with FM 12. (I skipped 11)
