I currently write internal business applications in Foxpro/DOS. When I
run them under Linux, I use Dosemu. I want to run gui database apps.
There seem to be none, as described above, in Linux. Therefore, I am
looking for some history to see if any of the MS Windows 16 bit apps,
most of which are sitting on my shelf collecting dust, work reliably
under Wine. The motivation of Wine seems to be running games, or
running MS apps that have excellent similiar programs running in Linux
(Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice, Gimp, Scribus, more that do not come
to mind now(, already.
