<DIV>I'm trying to run a very simple program under wineconsole, but can't get it to work.</DIV>

<DIV>It compiles and runs fine under Linux (prints the message and waits for characters to be typed, ends when Return is pressed).</DIV>

<DIV>It also compiles using mingw32 cross-compiler and runs fine if put on a Windows box, but won't run under Wine.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Specifically, the behaviour I observe is:</DIV>
<DIV>1) Console window opens</DIV>
<DIV>2) Console window closes before I can see any text printed (i.e. very fast)</DIV>
<DIV>3) Wine exits with successful completion indicator.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have had no luck getting winedbg to work at all.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm using version 0.0.20020411-1 on Debian.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Any help appreciated.</DIV>
