While it doesn't really answer your question, a useful thing to know is
that there is a program in the Wine source, wine/programs/taskmgr, which
you can run. It will list programs running under Wine. Click the
"Processes" tab, and then select and right click on a running Wine
program. The popup has a selection "Edit Debug Channels...". It not only
lists all the debug channels, but also lets you dynamically change them
while a program is running.
