ok, i solved using a text file. I use this command:<br>copy text_file.txt lpt1:<br><br>but i can't make it portable to windows :(<br>I've found that windows use unidrv.dll, and the registrys are similar<br><br>Anybody know how to configure a printer without the postscript driver from a windows app???

Hi all,<br>i'm trying to print from a windows command to a dot matrix printer (Epson Actionprinter 2000) and i cant use the printer in text mode, only in graphic mode.<br>I have ubuntu 7.04 feisty Desktop edition with wine
0.9.33 (from ubuntu rep)<br><br>I have working the LPT1, tested from cmd.exe with this command:<br>dir > lpt1<br><br>Now, the app works in windows wth a generic text only printer from the windows printers. And to change the spool y created this reg keys:
<br><br>[Software\\Wine\\Printing\\Spooler] 1184529841<br>"LPR:Epson"="|lpr -l"<br>"LPT1:"="/dev/lp0"<br><br>The printer in ubuntu have the raw driver.<br><br>The printer prints the postcript commands in the printer in text mode
