Looks like a common dialog bug.<br><br>I believe this is provided (depending on what the application was coded in) with COMDLG32.DLL, but wine is pretty verbose with the error.<br><br>I see some articles saying its called by the COM server, so DCOM98 may help, but Its my assumption that most common dialogs are covered in wine already.<br>
<br>Have you tried typing "test.mid" for the file name? Or perhaps "*.mid" <enter>, then "test.mid"?<br><br>There may be a workaround that will suffice until your issue is resolved.<br>

Hello, finale notepad 2008 is a free (as in beer) score writer program<br>
which is fairly user-friendly. It can save scores in its own format and<br>
as a midi file. The problem is that the file dialog doesn't show any of<br>
the file types, it's all blank. It automatically saves in its own<br>
format, so I'm not lost, but it's just that saving to midi makes sharing<br>
