i've found that save/exit then relaunch the game/load works.<br>
when entering a corrupted area: save, exit the game and reload again then the area will be fine this time.<br>
weird..<br>
also key repeat is a problem: "xset r off" to disable it.<br>
well, at least it's playable now.. i just have to quit /relaunch the game time to time..<br>
