Hi,<BR>
I had someone who can see help install some games in Wine. The games work great except for shades of Doom. It starts correctly, but when the game should begin, it freezes. It requires DirectX8 to work. It actually did work once for a few minutes, then, it froze. Will someone good with Wine Please install Shades of Doom and help figure out what's going wrong?<BR>
I am using Ubuntu 9.04 with the version of Wine from its repositories.<BR>

The installer works as expected. When the game starts, press enter 3 times. At this point the game should start, but instead, I get the rather cryptic message:<BR>
2 0 1 7<BR>
After that message the game freezes.<BR>
This game is for blind people, so if you get game sounds but no picture, that means the game is working. If you press the spacebar you should hear a gun firing.<BR>
