Running WINE 1.1.29 in KDE 4.3.2 in Slackware64-13. The version or OS is really not important as I've never been able to get sound to work in Powerpoint.<br>

Sound works in other applications running in WINE,<br>
e.g., WinAmp (audio, but no video), but not with Powerpoint from ms-office 2003 or the Powerpoint Viewer 2007.<br>

Is there a "switch" that needs to be "thrown" or is this a known problem.<br>
