</div>Serivces doesn't run nicely on Wine, they only run while an application is open.<br>

You should be using the Linux version of Xammp or A seperate Apache /<br>
MySQL / PHP / FTP server from your package manager. (Most of these<br>
applications are primarily devoloped / tested under Linux, and they<br>
should genrally run better than the Windows versions)<br>
