I would like to install Wine 1.1.42 on my Linux Ubuntu 9.10.<br>

<br>You could uninstall wine package, then look in your apt-cache dir... the package might still be there.<br><br>If not, you'd have to compile it yourself.<br><br>If there's a regression, you might also want to report it (<a href="http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting">http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting</a>).<br>
