Hi all,
Wine 20040716, winetools-211jo
I installed winetools, created a new .wine/, installed DCOM, Internet Explorer 6
, Windows Installer, MDAC 2.8 German (all via winetools). I had to run IE
installation twice (it failed the first time).
I copied msado15.dll and oledb32.dll from my windows directory, but I believe
this would not have beed necessary (regsvr32 failed anyway).
Then I installed EasyTax ZH directly from CD (including MDAC), ran wineboot, and
lo, it works... almost.
Meaning: It runs, I can enter data, save the file, all perfect, but it crashes
upon printing. I have not tried printing anything else from WINE yet though,
have to check the configuration first. I will get back on this one.
In my case this was the Zurich edition (which cannot be downloaded from the web)
, but I think they should be identical.

I have noticed this bug for a while (several months). All my test installations
use xorg.
The only way I can persuade my wine applications to accept keyboard input is to
give them a desktop. Without the desktop, the gnome-terminal that I invoke wine
from receives the keypresses instead.
My config file has:

Note that RHAS2.1 actually uses the same compiler as RH7.3, but it has some
additional bug fixes.
