Pacemaker window
gOddysey Pacemaker is a free (now discontinued) 3D model viewer/editor that
works with the BlitzBasic B3D file format. You can download it at
http://web.archive.org/web/20110624013029if_/http://webzoom.webs.com/smiff/…
The original site can be viewed at
http://web.archive.org/web/20090721084014/http://www.goddysey.com:80/downlo…
I've tried in Wine 2.12 and Wine-Staging 2.12; in both the text is corrupted.
I'm on Arch Linux with Intel Haswell graphics (HD 4600).
(Trying to save any file also causes a crash/freeze, but that's probably a
separate bug.)

Summary: Include fixes for mmsystem.dll16 and user.dll16 from
WineVDM project

Hello!
I need to get old 16-bit software editors running on Linux / MacOS.
The programs in question:
https://www.jaybmusic.net/Downloads/X5D-Editor.zip (Korg SE05 Editor for
X5/D/R)
https://www.jaybmusic.net/Downloads/SED-02W.zip (Korg NS5R Editor)
The problems:
MIDI Out works with no issues. As soon as you open MIDI In it shows a "Not
Enough Memory" error.
The error log says:
00e0:fixme:winmm:MMSYSTDRV_Message NIY: no conversion yet 16->32 kind=1 msg=57
I reported this to the WineVDM project and they included a fix for the
mmsystem.dll16 code:
https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/pull/547/files
Another issue already fixed is linked to the GUI of the NS5R Editor where
window elements overlap and cause the program to crash eventually. This has
also been fixed in the user.dll16 code:
https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/pull/1239/files
Please merge these fixes into the official wine code so we can use these pieces
of old MIDI software properly. Thank you.

Summary: Softube VST plugins are not drawing their UI

The plugin UI never updates, it's window is cleared with black on startup and
then it just shows the remains of anything that was ever drawn over it, like
unrelated windows. With the commit is reverted everything redraws normally.
Softube provides a free plugin that reproduces the issue ("Saturation Knob"),
but sadly it's not very straightforward to set it up. First you need some DAW
software what can run windows VST plugins through wine, like lmms. Then Softube
doesn't provide it's plugins directly but insists on installing them through
their bloated downloader, which then insists to install several licensing
services. I could not get it to work through wine and used a windows vm for
that part. Once you get the plugin dll however everything works through wine,
including "activation" (even for a free plugin) except that the UI is not
updating.
