Hi,
We are planning to go to a restaurant on Tuesday evening. We'd be happy
for all those who are still around to join us. We are still in the
process of picking a restaurant so send me an email so I can get you all
the details tonight.

E-Voting: Those who cast the votes decide nothing.
Those who count the votes decide everything.
Tonight diner is at the Bistrot des Vosges restaurant at 19h:
31, Boulevard Beaumarchais 75004 Paris
For those who are interested Elisabeth can lead you to walk around the
area. This will leave from the lobby at about 17h15 and will get back
to the hotel before we then leave to the restaurant.
So for everybody the plan is to meet in the lobby at 18h45 in the hotel
lobby.
Just in case, here's how to get there (it's essentially next to the
restaurant we went to on friday evening).

Linux: Because rebooting is for adding new hardware
Paul Davis is a linux audio guy who happens to have spent
some time looking at wine audio lately. He's not able
to attend wineconf, but he sent along some slides which
might be food for discussion during the audio session.
I put his draft slides up at

If you are a Wineconf participant, your breakfast has been paid for.
Just tell them you're with 'Libre Wine'.
Note that we'll be starting at 9:00 in the Mozart room.
Also note that we'll likely head for dinner in the hotel restaurant at
about 7:00; folks are in the bar area right now.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Hi,
Sorry about the last minute cancel, but unfortunately I cannot show up
due to personal circumstances. Hopefully I'll be there at wineconf
2011!
Cheers,
Maarten
- if you're flying into Charles de Gaul airport, bring 8 euros *in
coins* for the train ticket into town
- don't exchange much money at the airport, the exchange rate is
terrible. $50 gets you 28 euros.
(Supposedly ATMs and credit cards are the way to go, although most
places don't like US credit cards because they lack chips.)
- If you forget a US power adapter for your laptop, you can get a
simple one for 7 euros at
Bazar D'Electricite, 34 Boulevard Henri IV, a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.
- the hotel wireless is ok, but voip/p2p/streaming are forbidden, and
has a 200MB/day limit.
Unless we can find a printer at the hotel, I will have to print all the
keys right before I leave my sister's house toward the hotel, this
evening. This means that any key not sent to me by 5pm local time might
be left out of the key signing party itself.
Right now, I have keys from the following participants:
* Marcus Meissner
* Scott Ritchie
* Henri Verbeet
* Stefan Do"singer
* Alexandre Julliard
* Austin English
* Andrew Nguyen
* Jo"rg-Cyril Ho"hle
* Detlef Riekenberg
* Matteo Bruni
* Your humble servant (aka Shachar Shemesh)
11 people is entirely not a bad show up, but the more the merrier.

Hi,
there are meanwhile some announced talks, so i wonder if there is time enough at wineconf?
My part will be following (if time):
Find a good name for my upcoming CE support project and what it's all about.
I would like to find a name for it by writing down some ideas and then quickly vote for it by hand counting.

Hi All,
Since I am laptop impaired, can anyone borrow me a laptop for during
wineconf? Bonus if it already has a full wine tree checked out.
Cheers,
Maarten
