Are you actually *certain* that the sound goes through the ESounD server?
It may be that this works but I did some tests in the past and Wine would not
work if started from esddsp. I redid some tests today and Wine did not crash on
startup which is a good sign. However I was unable to confirm that the sound was
going through the ESounD daemon.
Also if it works, then what fixed the problem?
