Summary: Segmentation Faults when running wine
           Product: Wine
           Version: CVS
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P2
         Component: wine-kernel
        AssignedTo: wine-bugs at winehq.com
        ReportedBy: flute_guy at hotmail.com

When running tools/wineinstall from CVS, I get the following:

$ tools/wineinstall
[...]
Compiling regedit...
make: Nothing to be done for `all'.

Preparing to install default Wine registry entries...
Installing default Wine registry entries...

tools/wineinstall: line 648: 29395 Segmentation fault $REGEDIT $DEFREG
>/dev/null
Registry install failed.

Aditionally, running wine by itself with no arguments at this point also gives a
Segmentation fault.

I am running:
Linux 2.6.0-test9
gcc version 3.3.3 20031206 (prerelease) (Debian)
libc6 version 2.3.2
