This is a SUSE Linux 8.2 with WINE 20031212
(ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/meissner/wine/8.2/)

The program I'm trying to get running is the Cambridge Advanced Learners
Dictionary. I used winesetup to create a fresh fake_windows tree and installed
then the software. When I now try to start the CALD, the splash is shown and
behind it an empty windows appears. On the terminal I get these status messages:

[this line is repeated several times, then after a while some more of these
lines appear.]
