When DeLorme Street Atlas USA 9.0 is run under Wine 20040121, the application's
splash screen comes up as well as an error dialog with the header "Street Atlas
USA" containing the message "Failed to create empty document." Also the messages
fixme:ole:CoRegisterMessageFilter stub
err:msg:DispatchMessageW BeginPaint not called on WM_PAIT for hwnd 0x1002d!
are show up on the terminal window in Wine is invoked.
If the OK button in the error dialog is clicked on, the error dialog and the
splash screen go away, and the following messages show up in the terminal window:
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger...
WineDbg starting on pid 8
No debug information in ELF 'wine' ((nil))
Followed by numerous messages of the form
No debug information in 32bit DLL '<Windows pathname>' (0x<hex number>)
Followed by
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code
(0x00461da5).
In 32-bit mode.
