Summary: encountering page fault running DCI Reporter 2.95c
Product: Wine
Version: 20050725
Platform: Other
URL: http://www.germagic.de/software/Rep295c.zip
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: wine-debug
AssignedTo: wine-bugs at winehq.org
ReportedBy: andreas.becker84 at web.de
(remark: URL does not point to the "official" distributor of the DCI Reporter
Software, produced by wizards of the coast (www.wizards.com/dci), where a
login/password access for tournament organizers is required to download the
software, in spite of beeing concepted as software, public available to anyone
who wants to run a tournament of the Magic-The Gathering Trading Card Game).
So please - do not send e-mails to the webmaster of www.germagic.de, who just
provides a public mirror for the software!
When a new tournament is created (or one is copied to the program's main folder)
and opened, one can navigate through the interface nearly as one could from a
windows environment, with some slightly problems with font size, button
captions, etc.
When a tournament has e.g. already run and a one clicks on view->standings, the
program crashes with the following page fault exception:
(If there are any questions for test datasets, program specification, etc, just
ask me, I will provide you with needed information, especially 'cause this is a
rather specialized piece of software.)
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering
wine: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger...
WineDbg starting on pid 0x8
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000001 in 32-bit code (0x7
