I have the same problem with wine-20050524 on FreeBSD 5.4. After 
right-clicking on the layer toolbar (and all the other toolbars), Photoshop 
7.0 locks up completely.

...after the right click, the following appears:

At this point, photoshop is pretty much dead :( I've tried both native and 
builtin dll's, still the same.
