Booting on the same system but with non-SMP kernel (2.6.14), vb3run.exe runs
fine.  Only when booting with SMP kernel (2.6.13 or .14), vb3run.exe fails.  So
it seems the issue is a conflict with SMP Linux and 16-bit Windows.

The same 16-bit error occurs in other programs we want to run on our terminal
server for our learning center.  The other programs are niche, proprietary,
important programs, and I used vb3run.exe as an example because we could all
test it.
