Well, I can confirm that this _definately_ applies to only Xorg 6.8.2 and
higher, as I went ahead and rolled my X install back to Slack 10.1 release´s
Xorg 6.8.1, and WinRAR starts and runs just fine..  Problem is that, until Xorg
fixes the pre-existing pixmap bug properly, the hacky patch will probably just
stay in there, so to anyone that reads this, I suggest either rolling your X
install back to 6.8.1 or at most, to the 6.8.2 release, pre-pixmap overflow fix.

Hope that helps.  If anyone wants to post some of what´s being said/done about
this on either the wine-devel or xorg devel lists to this bug, feel free..
