Confirming. I downloaded the game from
http://www.jucaushii.ro/gamespace_883_download_296_Silkroad_Online_full_client_v101.html
as the downloadlink you provided didn't work for me.
The game starts up fine however if you set winedows version to win98 using
winecfg. Could you try and report back?
