Hi,
I did update to latest version of wine and configured it as Windows XP.
It did work, but through installation if failed saying:
Installation ended prematurely because of an error.

So i attached this error log, zipped.

If it might turn out being handy, you can try download this application
yourself and try to install it. It is taken from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=95e24c87-8732-48d5-8689-ab826e7b8fdf&DisplayLang=en
