Aha, and "cmapieng.vxd" shows that the application looks for a Network
Associates software (for example McAffee antivir).

Andreas, what's happening after this line is printed?
The line shows that the VWin32.VxD service VWIN32_Int21Dispatch, according to [2].

It would be nice to take a look at the 
dlls/vwin32.vxd/vwin32.c code and make it to dump parameters to be dispatched
(at least).  Maybe it can be easily extended to make your app going further.
