I tested 0.9 on NetBSD/i386 3.99.10 and wine does NOT work:

localhost:~> winecfg
wine: creating configuration directory '/home/martti/.wine'...

At the same time on another xterm:

localhost:~> ps axw | grep wine

localhost:~> 

I had to manually kill wineserver and wine.
