[Bug 5040] unable to install Windows version of matlab v7.0.4 with Wine

I can repeat this running the setup.exe on a cd marked "Mathworks_R14_1"
and wine 0.9.12 or so. The exact error is

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0

        at java.text.SimpleDateFormat.<init>(Unknown Source)
        at java.text.SimpleDateFormat.<init>(Unknown Source)
        at com.mathworks.installer.util.debugLevelZero(util.java:1432)
...

Hmm.  A demo for that class is online at

Maybe I'll go try that...
